Healthy granola you say?
Yes! I aim to use only wholesome ingredients in all our products. Each recipe is packed with heaps of seeds, grains and nuts. I also use lupin flakes in all my recipes which are ridiculously high in protein and fibre. They're grown in Western Australia which I love!
If you inspect our nutritional panels (which I recommend you do!) you will notice a high amount of fat in most of our products. This is due to the enourmous amount of seeds and nuts we put in every recipe, as well as organic coconut oil which has many health benefits.
I do like to sweeten our granolas somewhat and use organic coconut sugar which is an unrefined sugar and takes less water to produce than normal cane sugar. I also make an effort to try not to go overboard - my Cottesloe Cacao Lupin granola has 1/3rd the amount of sugar than Cocoa Pops. I also have a sugar free variety in the works for those concerned about their sugar intake.
Is your packaging really plastic-free?
Yes! I use recycled paper 'earthbags' that are lined with a corn based by-product that looks like plastic. On receiving your order I recommend putting your granola into an air-tight glass jar or container to preserve its crunchy goodness. The stamps we use are also made from vegetable or soy based inks.
